Earlier this month, Pinkvilla exclusively reported that Janhvi Kapoor was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai after she complained of stomach discomfort. After examination, doctors concluded that it was a case of severe food poisoning. At this time, the actress wanted her family to be with her.
But since her father, actor-producer Boney Kapoor, was out of the country, her rumoured boyfriend Shikhar Paharia’s mother took care of her like her mother. A source told Bombay Times, “Shikhar’s mother Smriti Shinde stayed by Janhvi’s bedside at the hospital throughout the night. She kept an eye on the young actress the next day as well,” the source added.
Janhvi Kapoor suffered from food poisoning
While Janhvi Kapoor was busy promoting her upcoming film ‘Uljhan’, she fell ill and was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai. A few days before her admission, she also attended the three-day lavish wedding party of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Janhvi and Shikhar were spotted together at several events.
But thankfully, he was discharged on July 20. Confirming the update, his father Boney Kapoor told Zoom, “He was discharged this morning. He is much better now.”
