Television actress Hina Khan revealed in a new post on Instagram that she went straight to the hospital for her first chemotherapy session after attending an awards show. She revealed that her work commitment matters the most and she has made a conscious choice to normalise the challenges and struggles that come in life. For those who don’t know, Hina was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer.

In the montage video, we can see Hina doing photoshoots, attending award shows and then walking in the hospital corridor. She said, “The award function is over. All the glitz is gone. Now I am in the hospital for my first chemo. Let’s get well.”

In her caption, Hina wrote that she found out about cancer on the award night. She wrote, “On this award night, I found out about my cancer, but I made a conscious choice to normalise it – not just for myself, but for all of us. This was the day that changed everything, it marked the beginning of one of the most challenging phases of my life.”

She shared some positive things and revealed that she is getting the results she desires. “The award I received right before my first chemo was not my sole motivation but I attended this event to reassure myself that I am meeting the benchmarks I have set for myself. Mind over matter (sic),” she wrote.

Hina Khan is dealing with her situation with a lot of positivity.
