Mamie Laverock is safe and sound after her tragic balcony fall accident that made her go viral. The When Calls the Heart star’s family shared the wonderful news on their Facebook account on Monday that Mamie is finally home three months after the accident.
The post read, “Dreams do come true. Welcome home Mamie.”
They posted photos of his joyous welcome with rain balloons and a home-baked rainbow cake with the tag Home Sweet Home. They also noted that though he is still in critical condition with serious injuries, he will be taken home for further care from now onwards.
In May this year, the actress was hospitalised after falling from a fifth-floor balcony for unknown reasons. The injuries were severe, and she also said they were life-threatening and shattered her body. She has undergone multiple major surgeries and has been on life support ever since. Details were given about the loss and despair her family suffered during this extremely difficult period, and a GoFundMe page was created to help raise funds for her continued medical treatment.
“He has suffered life-threatening injuries, has undergone multiple major surgeries, and is currently on life support,” the GoFundMe page dedicated to his care said. “We are all in shock during this extremely difficult time.”
Mamie’s mother, Nicole Rockman, has vowed to take action against the hospital, as she said in a June interview with the Los Angeles Times that she is going to sue the hospital. “We have a case,” she said, stressing that she is only concerned about Mamie’s health, her will to live, and her spirit.
“All we care about is that Mamie gets well and that she lives and that she fights and that she stays strong.”
On a very happy note, earlier in the month Mamie began walking for the first time since her terrible accident, which is a very encouraging sign that she is getting better.

When Mamie reached those first stairs, she said she felt very strange and was stumbling because she needed a walker to walk.
Hallmark star Mamie, best known for When Calls the Heart, has had her co-stars stand up for her. One of her co-stars, Erin Krakow, raised the same concern in June. “We’ve been in touch and we’re wishing her the best,” Mamie, 39, said, adding, “She’s a great girl and I hope she gets well as soon as possible.”
