How To Make Leftover Idli Batter Recipe – Idli Sambar Shakshuka:
- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and curry leaves. Let them crackle.
- Add chopped onion and sambar onion to it and cook till it becomes soft.
- Add salt, tomatoes, sambar masala and vegetables. Cook until the vegetables become soft.
- Add toor dal cooked in pressure cooker and mix well.
- Add tamarind paste and jaggery to balance the taste.
- Pour the idli batter into all four corners of the pan.
- Cook on a medium flame for 10 minutes or until the idli batter is cooked and the sauce thickens.
- Garnish with dried curry leaves, coconut pieces and coriander leaves.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
