The horrors of Halloween are here just in time. The upcoming Netflix movie, The Deliverance, is all set to scare you and bring out your worst fears. The movie is about a real-life incident that sent chills down the spines of the audience. Oscar-winning director Lee Daniels is once again giving his audience something unexpected and unimaginable. Talking about the film, the trailer begins with a small town. Ebony Jackson is struggling to make ends meet with her two children. They move to another place for a new start, but they are not alone. While battling the demons of her life, she notices something happening to her children. Soon these incidents start attracting the attention of child support groups.

This adds to Ebony’s troubles, as these people could take away her children. A demon has taken possession of her children, and she must find a way to get rid of it before things get worse.

With no money and support, Ebony is being helped by her neighbors, and with a bad temper like hers, she has to keep things under control. As the kids are behaving strangely, the scenes get tense. Separated from her husband, she is struggling every day.

As the trailer has excited fans, the horror thriller is all set to drop on Netflix on August 30 this year. Lee Daniels’ horror-thriller stars Andra Day as Ebony, Glenn Close as Mo’Nique, Anthony B. Jenkins as Andre, Demi Singleton as Shante, Caleb McLaughlin as Nate, Tasha Smith as Pastor who was seen in Netflix’s Survival of the Thicket, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor and many more.

Since the movie is based on true events, it was reported by an Indiana family in 2014. LaToya Ammons began noticing suspicious events that led her to believe there was a demonic force haunting her home.

There is speculation that since the mother is an alcoholic, she might be hallucinating, but the trailer tells a different story. The trailer starts with an exorcism scene where one of Ebony’s children is behaving differently. The Deliverance has all the elements of horror and horror that can send shivers down your spine.
