Let’s take a brief look at the competition – if we are looking at the phone with 200MP cameras, then the flagship segment is not much below.
In fact, it is only Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro and Pro+. The Pro+ model has a Snapdragon 7S General 3 chip, so it is not even a match for Vanilla 400, never pay attention to 400 Pro. But its 5,110mAh battery has an IP68 rating and 120W charging. For cameras, both Pro and Pro+ have 200MP mens and 8MP ultra-winds, nor a telephoto.
Note that both of these have been launched with Android 14 and Xiaomi, promising only 3 OS updates. Meanwhile, the honor comes out of the 400s box with Android 15 and will receive 6 OS updates. On the plus side, even the Pro+ 12/512 GB is quite cheaper at € 380 (compared to € 550 for 8/512 GB Honor 400).
Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G (Global) • Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G • Nothing Phone (3A) Pro
The Nathing Phone (3A) Pro also uses Snapdragon 7s Jean 3, but leaves the 200MP main camera (is 50MP 1/1.56 “module) in favor of the 50MP 3x telephoto.
Poco F7 Ultra Flonts Snapdragon 8 Elite Power, gives it an upper hand in processing power. However, its cameras are more limited-50 mp main (1/1.55 ”, OIS, 50MP 2x tele and 32MP ultra-wide. The 5,300mAh battery has 120W wired and 50W wireless charging and the phone has been rated. You can hold a 12/256GB model for € 700.
Xiaomi Poco F7 Ultra • Realme GT 7 5G • OnePlus 13T
The new Realme GT 7 is the ovarian 9400E instead of 7. It has a 50MP main (1/1.56 “) and 8MP ultra-wide in addition to 6.78” Ltpo display and 50MP 2x tele camera. Note that there is no OIS on any camera. On the plus side, the phone has a 7,000mAh battery (yes, in Europe) with 120W wired-cavalry. This is rated IP69 and you can have a 12/256GB unit for € 650.
It is only available in China and is coming to India soon, but OnePlus 13T/13S has Snapdragon 8 Elite Power which is packed in relatively small size with its 6.32 “display. Its battery is larger than 400 variants at any honor at 6,260mAh capacity. And it is not a high resolution for zooming.
It is only a few competitions against the 400 series. Voting Time – Will you buy 400 models?
Let’s first vote on Honor 400 Pro. Additional processing power and better image quality when zooming will certainly be felt when this phone occurs in the latter part of its 6 -year lifetime. But it is € 250/£ 250 premium on the vanilla model and is looking at the Pricier 512GB version.
Now Honor 400. If you can fit within 256GB storage, the price difference of the Pro opens up to € 300/£ 300. The supporter is almost double – is it twice good?
PS. Take a look at your local Honor.com – such as in the UK, the Honor 400 Pro has a £ 150 discount coupon (plus free tweos and charger), Honor 400 gets a free storage upgrade at the top of £ 50 coupon. Do these deals change their views on 400 and 400 Pro?
