For something called “Fan Edition”, the Fe series actually has trouble joining fans. Last year’s model was criticized for its price, now 2025 models are here and this is a very similar story – people think they can get better hardware for their money elsewhere.
In short, Samsung Galaxy S25 Fe is not a great purchase – not now, anyway. Reading through comments on the previous week’s pole, we saw a pattern – a lot of people will get a Galaxy S24+. Despite having better phones, its cost is low.
The S24+ has the same exynos 2400 chipset (until you live in a Snapdragon area) and 4GB more RAM. It has a high resolution (1440p+ vs. 1080p+) 6.7 “display, which is a LTPO panel on it. The rest is close that there is a slight difference.
We have seen some great deals on the old Galaxy S24 Fe this year – and over time we are sure that we will see similar great deals on S25 Fe. Till then, S24 Fe or S24+ S25 will look after. And this is just if you are looking at the Samsung phone. Depending on where you live, you can get some close-flagship level hardware for $ 650/€ 750/£ 650.
Another issue is – with the FE model arriving so late, they launch the new Galaxy S. A few months before coming. Then there will be warm new hardware for people with money for old S-model (similar to S24+ status).

Nevertheless, some owners of the old Galaxy S FE phones show sufficient upgrades on S25 Fe to switch. Whether they do this immediately or do they wait for the price to leave, there is another case – we have already seen some reports on great deals from shops, but it seems very rare.
