We expect iPhone 17e, iPad Mini 8 and 3 other devices Apple to launch in early 2026
As we enter the last few weeks of 2025, expectations are rising for the launch of new technology in 2026. Apple is expected to start the new year with a bang, as the Cupertino giant is said to have several new products in the pipeline, ranging from the iPhone 17e to new budget MacBooks. Here are all the details.

2025 is about to end with the holiday season. This year has been quite busy in the tech world, especially for Apple. The Cupertino giant made a number of launches, ranging from the introduction of the iPhone 16e to the ultra-slim iPhone Air. Looking at the sales reports, it seems that the iPhone 17 series is already breaking records for Apple. But heading into 2026, the company shows no signs of slowing down.
Instead of taking it easy next year, Apple is preparing for an even busier launch cycle, especially early in the year. The Cupertino giant is expected to double down on its affordable iPhone ‘e’ series next year with the iPhone 17e. Additionally, Apple is rumored to eventually bring a major update to the iPad Mini in 2026. Not only this, Apple is also expected to launch an affordable MacBook in early 2026, which could be ideal for students. India Today Tech will bring you the latest updates as they happen. Here are five devices we expect Apple to launch in early 2026.
Here are 5 devices Apple will likely launch in early 2025
1. iPhone 17e
Last year, the iPhone 16e was launched as the most affordable entry point to the iPhone lineup. Apple is expected to continue the E series with the iPhone 17e, likely to launch in February 2026. The device is expected to be powered by the new A19 chipset from the iPhone 17, which will boost performance. You can also get a new 18 megapixel center stage selfie camera in iPhone 17e.
On the display front, the phone is expected to get thinner bezels this time; However, the notch will probably remain for now. A single 48-megapixel rear camera will also likely be carried.
2. iPad Mini 8
Apple is reportedly in the process of upgrading the iPad lineup with OLED displays. After the iPad Pro, the iPad mini is expected to be the next product to get this update. The iPad mini 8 will likely launch in early 2026 with a vibrant OLED panel. However the refresh rate is expected to remain at 60Hz.
Other expected upgrades from the iPhone 17 Pro include the A19 Pro chipset and a water-resistant design. These updates could make the next iPad Mini about $100 (roughly Rs. 9,000) costlier than its predecessor.
3. iPad 12
The iPad 12 is said to launch alongside the iPad Mini 8 next year. While the latter is getting a ton of upgrades, Apple is also refreshing the entry-level iPad. The 12th-generation iPad will likely get the A19 chipset from the iPhone 17, which is a notable upgrade compared to the A16 chip in the 11th-generation iPad.
The rest of the specs are expected to remain the same as the older model, which could result in the iPad 12 getting a similar price tag. iPad 11 was launched in India for Rs 34,900.
4. Budget MacBook
MacBooks are considered one of the best machines in their price range when it comes to the balance of performance and battery life. Till now Apple had never entered the budget segment of PCs, and this made it difficult for students or people with low budgets to get a MacBook. Now the situation is expected to change.
It has been rumored for several months that Apple is working on a new affordable MacBook that could be powered by iPhone chipsets. The processor in question is likely the A18 Pro from the iPhone 16 Pro. Despite having a phone chipset, the rumored budget MacBook is expected to deliver good performance. The display is expected to be smaller than the MacBook Air’s 13.6-inch panel.
Apple may price its budget MacBook at around $599 (approximately Rs 54,000) in the US.
5. M5 MacBook Air
In October this year, Apple launched the M5 chipset with updated MacBook Pro and iPad Pro models. As early as 2026, the Cupertino giant will likely bring the processor to the MacBook Air. The new chipset is expected to offer big gains in performance and improved efficiency. However, no major changes are likely to be introduced in the design this time. The MacBook Air is rumored to get an OLED display sometime in 2027.
