1. Triathlon
Not many people know about this sporting event, so here is some information about it. The triathlon consists of three stages: 1.5 km swimming, 40 km cycling and 10 km running. The competition takes the form of a single event between all competitors without any breaks. The triathlon competitions are scheduled to be held at the 2024 Paris Olympics at the Pont Alexandre III between July 31 and August 5, 2024.
2. Breaking
Another rare sport that is part of the Olympics 2024 is breaking. For those who don’t know, this competition involves a massive combination of dance moves like windmills, footwork, etc., improvised to the tune of a DJ’s track to get the highest score. This sport will make its official debut in the event and is the first dance sport event to appear in Summer Olympics history.

Trampolining or trampoline gymnastics is another rare Olympic sport in which athletes perform acrobatics while bouncing on a trampoline. The sport also includes simple jumps in different positions such as straight and straddle to more complex combinations. It is scheduled to take place on August 2, 2024.

Sailing has been one of the Olympic sports since 1896, but it is still unknown to many. The sailing competitions at the 2024 Summer Olympics will be held at the Marseille Marina between July 28 and August 8.
5. Sport climbing
Sport climbing is another rare and recently added sport to the Olympics. This competition made its Olympic debut at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. It is a type of free climbing and rock climbing where the climber clips into fixed bolts while ascending a route. This sport is scheduled to take place at the 2024 Summer Olympics this year at the Le Bourget sport climbing venue in Saint Denis between August 5 and 10, 2024.
