Addressing the guests at Waves Summit 2025, PM Modi talked about the global reach of Indian cinema.

“In the last century, Indian cinema has been successful in popularizing India in every part of the world. It is clear from Raj Kapoor’s popularity in Russia, Satyajit Ray’s popularity in Cannes and RRR’s success in Oscar,” the PM said.

At the Waves 2025 Summit, PM Modi paid tribute to Dadasaheb Phalke, Guru Dutt and Raj Kapoor.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the summit of the waves 2025. He addressed all artists, material creators and creative thinkers at the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit 2025.

Says PM, “Today, artists, neo -renewed, investors and policy makers of more than 100 nations have gathered under one roof. We are laying the foundation for the global ecosystem of talent and creativity. Waves is a global platform that belongs to every artist and producer.”

Singer Shreya Ghoshal sang a welcome song, as he kicked the Waves Summit 2025.

Shah Rukh Khan made a grand entry on the stage and welcomed the guests and spectators at the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (Waves) 2025 in Mumbai.
