It wasn’t long ago that the two had officially announced their relationship and in a recent interview, Vijay opened up about the reasons behind his and Tamannaah’s decision to publicly accept their bond.
He mentioned that he does not like to confine his feelings and emphasized that neither he nor Tamannaah felt the need to keep their relationship private.
Speaking with YouTuber Shubhankar Mishra, Vijay said that he and Tamanna enjoy each other’s company. She added that they both agreed that if they loved spending time together, there was no reason to hide their feelings.
The Mirzapur actor further explained that maintaining privacy in a relationship requires significant effort. She expressed that it limits their freedom to go out together or share photos with friends and that she does not like such restrictions.
Verma clarified that his intention was not to grab headlines; He simply didn’t want to feel limited or suppress his emotions.
During the same interview, when asked if his relationship dominates his work, Vijay admitted that society often takes interest in the lives of others.
He described this trend as a social issue, commenting that everyone has a “gossip aunt” within themselves who focuses on discussing relationships. However, he said that the appreciation he gets for his work upon release cannot be denied.
On the work front, Varma was last seen in the thriller series IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack.
