Shah Rukh was recently spotted at the Mumbai airport where he looked extremely cool. The King actor was seen stepping out amid heavy security.
Today, September 18, 2024, Shah Rukh Khan was captured by the paparazzi as he landed at the Mumbai airport. He wore an interestingly printed black T-shirt and ice blue denim. The highlight of his look was a brown leather jacket and a black hat with a red X on it. Carrying his brown sling bag, Shah Rukh walked towards his car amid heavy security.

Earlier this month, Shah Rukh Khan celebrated the first anniversary of his blockbuster film Jawaan. He sent love to the action thriller’s director Atlee as well as the rest of the cast including Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone and the girl gang. Shah Rukh also expressed his gratitude to the audience who flocked to the theatres in large numbers a year ago.
Taking to Instagram, he wrote, “The film we made with so much of heart… turns a year old today… or should I say ‘jawaan’ turns a year old. Without the story, skill and vision of @atlee47, this film wouldn’t have been possible and of course… a big big big!!!

Shah Rukh recently announced that Jawaan is set to release in Japan. He revealed the release date as November 29, 2024 in a special post. He said, “The fire and action you all love is coming to Japan in a big way!”
Talking about his upcoming releases, Shah Rukh Khan has voiced Mufasa in the Hindi version of Mufasa: The Lion King. Directed by Barry Jenkins, the film will release in Indian theatres on December 20, 2024.
Shah Rukh Khan is also set to begin his next acting project King. The film will be directed by Sujoy Ghosh and produced by Gauri Khan and Siddharth Anand. Pinkvilla recently got to know about King’s shooting timeline from a source. The source revealed, “The first schedule of King will begin in January in Mumbai, followed by a marathon schedule in Europe. The makers have done multiple rounds of recce in Europe to showcase King on a grand scale.”
The film is expected to wrap up by August or September 2025 and is currently targeted for an Eid 2026 release. “A film like King is apt for Eid 2026 and that is what Shah Rukh Khan and Siddharth Anand are working on,” the source added. This also means that King is expected to clash with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War.
