Samantha was seen wearing a yellow and red jersey as she was happy for her team from the stand. His presence in the match added enthusiasm to the incident.

The actor was the first celebrity franchise owner to invest in WPBL, who firmly implied Chennai Super Champs as a symbol of his love for the city.
