On July 20, several bigwigs including Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and the state’s Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis attended the trailer launch of the upcoming Marathi language film Dharamveer 2.
Several Bollywood stars like Salman Khan, veteran actor Jeetendra and senior actor Govinda were also present at the trailer unveiling in Mumbai on Saturday. During the launch, the audience got to see the camaraderie between the Bollywood actors as they greeted each other with hugs.

The trailer launch event of Marathi film Dharamveer 2 was held by the makers in Mumbai on July 20. Salman Khan made a grand entry at this mega event. When he arrived wearing a simple black t-shirt and denim and shoes, he mesmerized the audience. He was accompanied on the stage by Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde, actors Govinda, Jeetendra and others.
In the clip of the event shared by ANI, the Tiger 3 actor can be seen meeting all the dignitaries. He also hugged his Bollywood seniors Govinda and Jeetendra. After interacting with them, Khan reached the centre stage of the event.

At the event, the Dabangg actor also came on stage and addressed the audience. In another clip, he can be seen saying, “Pehli screening ke liye aaya tha main aur woh picture bahut badi hit hogi, aur meri praarthana dua hai ki yeh (#Dharamveer2) usse bhi badi hit ho jaaye. Thank you, Jai Hind, Jai Maharashtra. (I came for the screening of the first film and it was a huge success. I pray to God that this film surpasses that.)”

2023 was a successful year for Salman Khan. He entertained the audience with the action-comedy film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and returned with the sequels Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai. Tiger 3 became very popular among his fans and became one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of 2023.
This year he is busy shooting for his upcoming film Sikandar. Directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film is expected to release on the Eid weekend of 2025.
