Watch: Rohit Bal’s spirited dance, looking unwell in the last fashion show

Rohit Bal, one of India’s famous fashion designers, died on Friday at the age of 63 after a prolonged illness. Bal, who was hospitalized last year due to cardiac issues, recovered from the health issues and presented his last collection Kainaat: A Bloom in the Universe at the grand finale of Lakme Fashion Week x FDCI 2024 on October 14.

At the fashion show, the hair looked unkempt, but despite this, she danced on the ramp, which was appreciated by Ananya Panday, who turned showstopper for the fashion designer, and other models present at the event.

While Bal danced, Ananya Panday, who wore a black lehenga with beautiful red rose embroidery – a hallmark of Bal’s designs – and other models cheered for her. He had a rose in his hand and was in high spirits despite his health issues.

Known for his elaborate use of materials like velvet and brocade, Bal’s intricate and majestic creations brought a timeless grandeur to Indian fashion.
