Telugu actor Nandamuri Balakrishna’s next film NBK109 has been titled Daku Maharaj. Directed by Bobby Kolli, the film stars Bobby Deol as the lead antagonist and is set to release on Sankranthi 2025.
The makers of actor Nandamuri Balakrishna’s new film, NBK109, released the title teaser of the film on Friday, November 15. The first look video of the film shows NBK, as he is popularly called, in a dacoit avatar, and hence the title, Daku Maharaj. The film, which is coming as a big release of Sankranthi next year, is a ‘story of a king who fought without a kingdom’ and a man who is known as the ’emperor who made even death tremble’. Seethara Entertainments, the official production company backing the film, shared the first look video on Twitter, and introduced Balaiah (another popular name of Nandamuri Balakrishna) as the dacoit Maharaj.
His caption on the official Twitter post reads, “Witness the People’s Lord like never before!! Introducing the one and only #Nandamuri Balakrishna Garu as #DakuMaharaj. Here’s the much awaited title teaser. Ultimate Power- Prepare yourself for a packed experience on January 12, 2025 in Cinemas Worldwide (sic).”
Bobby Deol plays the main antagonist in the Telugu film. While the first-look video shows a glimpse of the actor, the full look has not been revealed by the makers yet. Other stars who have been cast in Daku Maharaj include Urvashi Rautela, Chandni Chaudhary, Pragya Jaiswal and Shraddha Srinath. The film’s music is composed by S. Thaman, while it is written and directed by Bobby Kolli.
Daku Maharaj is set to hit the screens on January 12, 2025.
