Arjun Kapoor spotted Malaika Arora and her sister Amrita Arora leaving their house after their father Anil Mehta’s demise. Kareena Kapoor and Karisma saw them off.
Actress Malaika Arora, her son Arhaan Khan and sister Amrita Arora were spotted leaving their father Anil Kuldeep Mehta’s house with their friends last night (September 11). Anil died on September 11 after reportedly jumping off a building. Arjun Kapoor carried them to their respective cars while Kareena Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor supported them. A video of the Arora sisters seeing them off was shared by a paparazzo on social media.

Malaika and Amrita’s father Anil Kuldeep Mehta died after allegedly jumping from a building in Mumbai. Police officials are treating it as a case of suicide.
As soon as the news spread, Malaika’s friends reached her father’s house and consoled him. It is said that Malaika was in Pune at the time of her father’s death and came back to Mumbai.
Hours after the death of Anil Kuldeep Mehta, Malaika shared a statement and requested privacy.
The statement said, “We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved father Anil Mehta. He was a gentle soul, a devoted grandfather, a loving husband, and our best friend. Our family is deeply shocked by this loss, and we request privacy from the media and well-wishers during this difficult time. We appreciate your understanding, support, and respect.”

Anil’s wife Joyce Polycarp was in their flat at Ayesha Manor in Bandra when he jumped off the building. Post-mortem is being conducted at Bhabha Hospital to ascertain the cause of death.
Anil Kuldeep Mehta called his daughters before his death and said, “I am sick and tired”. He was 65.
