After much wait, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal got married on June 23. The couple invited their close friends and family members for their civil marriage and then moved on to the reception venue to dance the night away.
Several inside videos from the star-studded ceremony went viral online. One of these clips showed the couple cutting their beautiful cake. According to Tier Nom Patisserie, which crafted their special cake, it was ordered just 8 hours before the big event.

In a video shared by the outlet, the owner revealed that on the morning of June 23, he received the order for that celebrity cake. Taking the ‘8-Hour Celebrity Wedding Cake Challenge’, he began working on it with over 10 kg of buttercream and chose deep pink, lilac and white exotic flowers for decoration.
Finally, after many hours of tireless efforts, a 4-tier, off-white cake bearing the couple’s initials was delivered to Sona and Zaheer’s reception venue. The newlyweds also danced happily before cutting the cake and enjoying it together.

Soon after signing their marriage papers, the couple announced their happy union to the world on social media. They posted several inside pictures of the beautiful ceremony and revealed that on June 23, 2017, the couple decided to give love a new dimension.

He added, “Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and victories… to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our Gods… we are now husband and wife.
