Pancake Day 2025 is here and many people around the world are marking this opportunity by preparing this lovely happiness at home. Former England football captain and international star David Beckham also decided to do so. He posted two short videos on Instagram, which gave his followers a glimpse of his pancake-pulping attempt and his daughter, Harper Beckham. In the first clip, we listen to the Harper of-Camra asking his father what he (in the kitchen) is doing. In response, he said, “This is Pancake Day!” He raises pancake twice in the air and manages to catch it both times. The second time, it becomes folded, but remains overall. “Happy Pancake Day,” he says with gaiety. “Have you ruined my pancake?” Harper asks David Beckham. He is surprised at his question. “Waste it? It’s perfect,” he says insisting. He opens the pancake carefully and then moves it to a plate.

In the next video, we see that Harper is trying to flip a pancake. Her first attempt is successful, but she almost leaves it. David Beckham is filming his efforts and encourages him to do a second time. She drops pancake on the floor. However, she says, “It’s still good.” David Beckham tells him that he will eat that pancake. Tagging other members of his family, David Beckham jokingly captioned the post, “Boys, Harper made you a pancake.” Watch the video below:

Pancake Day is also known as Sriv Tuesday. This ash is celebrated one day before Wednesday – which marks the beginning of a 40 -day sacred session called Lent. For Christians around the world, Lent is a serious period marked by fasting, prayer and sacrifice. Many people leave the food items like meat, chocolate, sweets, etc. as part of their lanten rearing. Therefore, one day before the leent starts, it is a common practice to use the material in someone’s pantry that will avoid later. In earlier times, it meant animal products such as eggs, flour, milk, etc. (which are major materials for pancakes). This is why it is believed that Pancakes emerged as a popular treatment on Tuesday.
