Model and actress Malaika Arora and her family are going through a tough time after the sudden demise of her father Anil Mehta yesterday. The sad news left everyone in shock on the morning of September 11, 2024. Malaika and her sister, actress Amrita Arora bid their last farewell to their late father and reached mother Joyce Polycarp’s residence in Bandra. Later in the night, Arjun Kapoor helped a grieving Malaika reach her car as she was leaving the house after her father’s demise. Kareena Kapoor was also seen accompanying her.
In a video posted by a paparazzi on Instagram, Arjun Kapoor can be seen exiting the building with Malaika Arora. A worried Arjun escorts Malaika to a safe place in the car along with her son Arhaan Khan. Malaika’s sister Amrita Arora is also with them.
Arjun and Malaika’s best friend Kareena Kapoor was standing behind. Kareena came out of the building with her sister Karisma Kapoor. The Kapoor sisters were seen getting into the car together.

Malaika Arora reached her parents’ house in Bandra, Mumbai, as soon as she heard the news of her father’s death. It is said that she was in Pune at that time. Amrita Arora, who met her parents a day before her father’s death, reached to pay her last respects to him along with her husband Shakeel Ladak.
Arjun Kapoor, who has previously dated Malaika, visited her mother’s house on Wednesday. Malaika’s ex-husband, actor-producer Arbaaz Khan also offered his condolences to her late father.
Malaika’s son Arhaan Khan was earlier seen leaving the building with his cousin Nirvaan Khan and aunt Amrita. Arhaan looked devastated after losing his grandfather. Apart from him, Salim Khan, Helen, Seema Sajdeh, Sohail Khan and Alvira Agnihotri visited Malaika’s mother’s house after hearing the sad news of Anil Mehta’s demise.
On Wednesday, Malaika Arora announced the tragic death of her father Anil Mehta on Instagram. She released an official statement remembering her late father. In her statement, the actress called him a “gentle soul”, “devoted grandfather” and more. The funeral will be held on September 12 at Santacruz Hindu crematorium in Mumbai.
