Director Shankar’s film Game Changer, starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani in the lead roles, promises a mix of action and drama with a political backdrop. This film will be released on 10 January 2025.

The trailer of director Shankar’s upcoming film Game Changer starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani has now been released. The film marks Shankar’s debut in Telugu cinema. The trailer suggests an entertaining potboiler, with Ram seen in different roles including a student and a police officer.
Charan also plays the role of his character’s father, who is courageous and a leader, always helping people and keeping the bad guys away even with an axe. While Anjali plays the role of the mother, Kiara Advani plays the role of his girlfriend. The plot is dense with SJ Surya as a corrupt Chief Minister who confronts Ram.

Like every Shankar film, this play also seems to be about righteousness and the victory of good over evil leading to the victory of peace and justice. Initially scheduled for release in Christmas 2024, Game Changer’s release was postponed due to incomplete post-production work. It is now scheduled to release on January 10, a date that was originally reserved for Ram’s father Chiranjeevi’s film Vishvambhara, which has been postponed. Game Changer will compete with other Sankranti releases, including Balakrishna and Bobby Deol’s Daku Maharaj and Venkatesh’s Sankranti Vasthunam, both releasing on January 12.
