Earlier in March 2024, Diljit Dosanjh surprised everyone by making a special appearance at Ed Sheeran’s concert in Mumbai and they sang together in Punjabi. Recently, fans in Birmingham got to see the duo’s wonderful reunion when Ed ‘returned the favour’ at Diljit’s concert. He performed a mashup of his popular songs Shape of You and Naina – a mashup we didn’t know we needed.
Today, September 23, 2024, Diljit Dosanjh and Ed Sheeran took to Instagram to share glimpses of their collaboration at the former’s concert in Birmingham last night. Dressed in white, Diljit introduced Ed in his typical style, saying, “Ed Sheeran aa gaya oye.” The audience was seen screaming in joy.
The video shows Ed wearing a black T-shirt and pants while he plays the guitar and sings Shape of You. Diljit also joined him and sang Naina’s song to the film crew. The singers were seen hugging each other at the end of the clip.
In the caption, Ed wrote, “Repaying the favour to my brother @diljitdosanjh in Birmingham tonight; what an amazing atmosphere; thanks for having me here!”

Diljit also shared another video from the same performance, as the audience enjoyed their time. The caption read, “@teddysphotos my brother shut down Birmingham, what a night. Love and respect. Thank you, Birmingham wallaya bout love.”

Meanwhile, Diljit Dosanjh recently had another great reunion. He worked with Alia Bhatt after eight years for the song Chal Kudiyan in the actress’ film Jigra. It is a powerful track that took fans down memory lane and reminded them of the magic of his previous song Ikk Kudi.
