Diljit Dosanjh enthralled Kolkata with his performance, embracing the local culture by quoting the KKR anthem and expressing admiration for Rabindranath Tagore. The singer-actor also shared his love for Shah Rukh Khan and highlighted the long-standing bond between Bengalis and Punjabis.
Singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh performed in Kolkata on Saturday night as a part of his Dil-Luminati Tour. He also won the audience’s hearts by singing Kolkata Knight Riders’ anthem ‘Korbo, Lorbo, Jeetbo Re’ and explained why it is such a beautiful tagline.
Sharing his love for Shah Rukh Khan and saying that he is also a fan of Shah Rukh Khan, Dijit Dosanjh said that it is a good mantra for life too. He also spoke about his love for Rabindranath Tagore and how the poet once said that Guru Nanak Dev Ji had already written a world anthem, when he was asked to write one. While reciting two lines, he also requested everyone to read it at least once.

Diljit Dosanjh also proved that he has a heart of gold when he brought his guitarist Abhishek Dey to the forefront as his family members were present at the concert. He highlighted himself, gave them the mic to say something and address the crowd. Here is the video:
Diljit Dosanjh kicked off the India leg of the Dil-Luminati Tour in New Delhi on 26 October. He has already performed in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow and Pune Before reaching Kolkata. He will also perform in Mumbai, Indore, Guwahati, Jaipur and Chandigarh.
