Bhumi Pednekar was recently out in the city with her sister Samiksha Pednekar and other friends. While she was heading towards a food shop, an excited media person clicked pictures of the actress. But one of them lost balance and tripped over the other, leaving her worried about the paparazzo.
For the evening out, the actress decided to wear a simple all-black outfit. She looked stunning in a crop top and matching pants. Bhumi Pednekar completed her look with white sneakers, a luxury bag and minimal makeup. As she reached the venue, she signaled a media professional to take care of her as one of them was almost about to fall.

Bhumi Pednekar is one of those actresses who loves being in front of the camera. In fact, it is liberating for her. During an exclusive conversation with Pinkvilla, the Dum Laga Ke Haisha actress revealed that being in front of the camera gives her security. She shared, “But when I am in front of the camera I think it is the only place where I feel so secure about whatever I do. It is very liberating for me. Maybe it also comes from the fact that I am playing a character that is not me, but that journey has really helped me accept myself in many ways.”
The Badhaai Do star also discussed perfection and revealed that she still doesn’t know what it is. For her, imperfection is very, very beautiful. It sounds very poetic, but she really understands what it means.
She also revealed that she chooses certain films because of insecurities. The actress said, “I am constantly told ye dekh kaisi dikhi hai, woh dekh, tera ye body part (how do I look, how does a particular body part look). The internet can be very harsh and I try my level best not to let it affect my mental health but it does happen. I really try not to get affected by it but, kahin naa woh 1-2 minute ke liye lagta hai, ‘accha aisa lag raha hai kya’ (it affects me for a few minutes) but I leave that moment behind.”
