Producer Bhushan Kumar has addressed the recent speculations about Arijit Singh’s exit from playback singing. He specifically denied rumors that the singer was forced to record the song When will you come home for the upcoming movie Limit 2.

Singh explained the reasons for his decision in detail, citing his creative tendencies and desire for change. He said, “One reason is quite simple: I lose interest quickly, which is why I often change the arrangements of my songs and perform them live.” He continued, “So, here’s the truth: I’m tired. I need to explore different music to keep going.”

Another motivating factor, according to Singh, is his desire to support and listen to emerging voices in the music industry.
