Nani has been an emerging star in Telugu cinema, constantly proves her subtlety with path-breaking films. The actor has worked in various styles and enjoys an unmatched fan. Recently, Dasra Star along with her son ran down the Memory Lane, remembering the experience of watching one of her films in theaters.
In an interview with Otplay, Nani shared her experience of watching her sports film Jersey after her release in theaters, this time with her son Arjun. He said that the screening was a packed show, in which around 800-900 people were booking tickets for the film’s re-too.
Moving forward, he recalled a different moment during the screening when the entire audience resumed a scene of the film in real life, in front of him and his son. Nani said that while her son did not understand this, for him, it was a precious moment.
In his words, “I and my son were watching and it was watching Jersey for the first time. He was sitting next to me, and was shouting and shouting before the gap, Ronit (the actor who used to play onscreen son for grandmother) (bowing in honor) (bowing in honor), and the whole theater and my son.
He said, “This was my jersey moment and my son did not understand why the audience was doing this. I remember look at it, and it is worth everything.”
For The Anward, Jersey received significant praise on its dramatic release in 2019. The film also won two prestigious National Film Awards and was screened at several international film festivals.
Directed by Gautam Tinnuri, the film was remake in Hindi after two years. In the remake, Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor originally played the lead role played by Nani.
Now fast forward, Nani is ready for the release of two much awaited action films- Sirikant Odella’s The Paradise and Selesh Kolanu’s hit 3.
