Priyanka Chopra has recently finished shooting for her latest Hollywood project. DangerThroughout production, she has kept fans updated with several behind-the-scenes updates. These include photos of injuries she suffered on set, adorable singing videos of her daughter Malti Marie Jonas, and fascinating glimpses of the prosthetics and props used in the film. Recently, she unveiled a highly realistic makeup look, revealing the interesting process of creating the burnt hair effect for the shoot, which is definitely worth watching.
Today, on August 5, Priyanka Chopra took to Instagram to share pictures that feature her face covered in blood, as well as her bloodied, injured and burnt hands. She also revealed the trick she used to create the burnt hair effect on set. In a video posted by our Desi Girl, she is seen asking her stylist how they achieve the burnt hair look. The stylist demonstrated creating a burnt look by crushing rice bubbles/grains and applying it to the hair with hairspray.
Sharing the photos and videos, Priyanka Chopra revealed that it’s all makeup, adding that the pictures are from the last week of filming. She captioned the post, “Bloody fun time on #TheBluff, last week of filming! PS: For those who don’t know, I’m on a movie set and this is all makeup. Pirate ships in the 1800s were extremely violent! It’s incredible to see how each department of the crew turns imagination into reality.”
As soon as Priyanka shared the pictures, fans showered praises. One user wrote, “Awesome! Can’t wait to watch this movie and know more about Ercel.” Another commented, “I can’t wait to meet Ercel! Earlier, the Citadel star posted a video on her Instagram Stories, showing a moment she shared with her mother Madhu Chopra. In the footage, filmed in the car for the wrap party, the mother-daughter duo is seen enjoying the Bollywood classic Aaja Sham Hone Aayi from the Salman Khan-starrer Maine Pyar Kiya.
She revealed that this song is her favourite song to sing when you are late for a wrap party. While enjoying the music with her mother, the actress added a caption to the video, “This is my song for when you are late for a wrap party or maybe not at all. Can anyone relate to this?”
The Bluff is an upcoming American film written by Frank E. Flowers and Joe Ballerini, and directed by Flowers. Priyanka Chopra plays the lead role, alongside Karl Urban, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Safiya Oakley-Green, and Vedantan Naidu.
Apart from The Bluff, Chopra will also be seen in the action comedy Heads of State alongside John Cena. She is also set to return in the second season of the much-anticipated spy thriller series Citadel and will be seen in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zara, in which she will be seen alongside Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.
