War 2 records better than cool on Tuesday, still lags behind
Directed by Ayan Mukherjee, and Hrithik Roshan, Junior NTR and War 2 directed by Kiara Advani on Tuesday, after entering a mark of Rs 200 crore in the first 4 days, collected Rs 15.75 crore on Tuesday.
This is the first time that War 2 defeated the cool figure as Rajinikanth’s film could add Rs 13 crore on Tuesday and remained the second priority among the audience. The total cum of War 2 is still far behind the bud, as the Loki-Rajini film performed very well in the early weekends.
For records, Cool marched the past in a club of Rs 400 crore on its 6th day on its 6th day, a gain of Rs 114.75 crore at Rs 286.25 crore of War 2.
Based on the current trends, Cool is expected to fall below the 500 crore mark worldwide, while War 2 is aimed at less than Rs 350 crore. Both films will have to jump in the second weekend to achieve these figures by the end of their dramatic runs.
