Starring Hrithik Roshan, Junior NTR and Kiara Advani among others, directed by War 2, Ayan Mukherjee, crashed at the Indian box office on 1 Monday, earning only Rs 9 crore. After an expanded early weekend of Rs 200 crore, it was expected that the film would collect some types of short runs in the area around the Gross Rs 15 crore in India. However, this did not happen. The film has fallen by more than 80 percent from its Independence Day on Friday of Rs 67 crore.

War 2 will actually end as a rare Biggi to lose money for producers
War 2 will be a rare film by a large production house in recent times, really to lose money. Most large films are solved, thanks to solid non-drainage recovery. In this case, War 2 has solid non-drainic recovery, but it is not enough to take the film beyond the line. In the gross of about 500 crore rupees worldwide, War 2 may have somehow recovered its money. But the film will end Rs 150 crore below the said number to emerge a flop.
