A new show that examines the events around the Jalianwala Bagh massacre is set to premiere on Sony Liv on 8 March. The series starring Tyaruk Raina in the lead role is The Wacking of a Nation.
Singer and actor Tireuq Raina is a new series in the Wacking of a Nation, a powerful historical drama, which is a powerful historical drama inspired by the true incidents around the 1919 Jalianwala Bagh massacre. The next month is set for the premiere on Sony Liv, the show is directed by the National Award winner and international Amy-namine filmmaker Ram Madhavani.
Depending on the background of one of the most important moments in India’s struggle for freedom, the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, in the series history, flows into the stress and catalyst behind this dark chapter.
The awakening of a nation follows Kantil Sahni (played by Tireuk Raina), as he detects a deep conspiracy contained in colonialism and white domination. The show re -connects history through the Hunter Commission’s investigation lens.
