Vamika Gabbi, who impressed the audience with her performance as Nilofar in Jubilee, recently shared an update about the show’s much -awaited second season. As fans eagerly waited for any news on Jubilee Season 2, the actress revealed that she did not have much information at this time.
Talking to IANS during the promotion of her upcoming film Khil Chuk Maid, Vamika said, “I think it’s in writing. I only know a lot. I don’t know what they are writing. I am waiting to learn more about it too. I have only this update about it.”
This statement has left fans both hopeful and curious. Although it confirms that the story is being written for season 2, it also indicates that artists have to loop about details yet.
Jubilee, which was on prime video in 2023, was set in the golden age of Hindi cinema around 1947. The series follows the life of a studio owner, his wife, an emerging actor and a courtesy, trying to make her mark during the complex and changing times of all pre-fed India India.
The depiction of Niloufer Qureshi of Wamiqa Gabbi – Lucknow was widely praised for dreaming of becoming a film actress in Bombay with a courtesy of Lucknow. The series also starred in the lead roles by Sidhant Gupta, Prosejit Chatterjee, and Ujashtate Khurana and was created by Vikramaditya Motavane.
Even with no confirmed timeline for season 2, this update that is in development is enough to solve the enthusiasm among fans who were fascinated by the show’s vintage look, layered characters and intricate story stories.
Meanwhile, Vamika Gabbi is all set to play the role of Rajkumar Rao in her new film Khol Chuk, a romantic comedy. The film will leave its dramatic release and directly OTT.
Bhool Chuk Maaf will stream on Amazon Prime Video from May 16, 2025. The producers announced the OTT release in a joint statement by Madock Films and Amazon MGM Studio.
The film directed by Karan Sharma follows the story of Ranjan (Rajkumar Rao) and Titley (Vamika Gabbi), who are trapped in a time loop. Every day, they wake up in the morning of their turmeric celebrations, causing a series of funny and chaotic events. Supported by Madock Films, the film also stars Seema Pahwa, Sanjay Mishra and Raghubir Yadav.
