Tamannaah Bhatia has officially joined Siddharth Malhotra’s upcoming folk thriller, ‘Vavan-Fores of the Forest’. On Wednesday (April 30), the manufacturers unveiled a new teaser, presenting the actress in a mysterious new avatar.

Although his face has not been revealed, he is shown running barefoot in a red sari towards a dense forest. In the teaser, she brightens a lamp and faces an inauspicious sign that states, “Warning: not allowed to enter the forest after sunset.”

Jhalak was shared with caption, “Inherent in Indian mythology and mysticism, Vvan – The force of Forest manifests a story directly from the pages of history and folklore. Happiness to welcome @tamannahSpeaks for this powerful story – a force in itself, is ready to prepare the screen in itself.

The announcement was made with Chhath 2024, the producers also confirmed that the film was set to release during the Chhath festival next year.

Although the full cast list remains under the raps, Bharat Today Digital has specially stated that Sara Ali Khan has also been cast with Siddharth Malhotra. However, the production team has not yet officially confirmed their participation.

Vivan is being produced by Balaji Motion Pictures in collaboration with viral fever (TVF).
