Vrishabha trailer out: Mohanlal epitomizes a magnetic avatar as he balances his reincarnation and past life

Mohanlal-starrer Vrishabha is scheduled to release in theaters on December 25, 2025, coinciding with Christmas this year. Ahead of the theatrical release, the makers have unveiled the trailer, which explores a world across two timelines.

Vrishabha trailer out: Mohanlal looks fantastic in the role of a king

The 1 minute and 47 second trailer of Vrishabha presents a story that blends the worlds of drama and fantasy. The film depicts Mohanlal as a mysterious man who wields considerable influence in society as a businessman, and his son plays an integral role in protecting him.

However, the businessman’s world comes to a halt when he starts having visions of his past life, in which he was once a king. These scenes, along with the battles and rivalries from his former life, continue to haunt him in the present.

With answers yet to be revealed, the man must deal with these events, setting out on a journey that stands as a testament to the unbreakable bond between a father and son.

The world of Taurus is a mix of modernity and royalty in two different time periods. According to the makers, this is the first time in cinema history that Lleyton will be seen as a king on screen.

Apart from the Drishyam star, the film also stars Samarjit Lankesh, Nayan Sarika, Ragini Dwivedi, Ajay, Neha Saxena, Vinay Verma, Garud Ram, Ali, Kishore and many others in lead roles.

Written and directed by Nandada Kishore, the film has music composed by Sam CS. Cinematography is handled by Antony Samson, while KM Prakash serves as the lighting editor. The film, shot simultaneously in Telugu and Malayalam, will also be dubbed and released in Hindi and Kannada.

Mohanlal’s upcoming movies

After Vrishabha, Mohanlal will be seen in the lead role in Drishyam 3 directed by Jeethu Joseph. The film will serve as the third installment of the crime drama thriller franchise and is expected to be released in theaters next summer.

Looking ahead, the actor also has a police action-comedy film tentatively titled L365, directed by Tharun Murthy.

Additionally, Leighton will play extended cameo roles in films like Bha Bha Ba, Patriot, Thuddaakam, Khalifa and Jailer 2.
