Sure, the tools are slippery, but holding them is extremely satisfying. Despite having larger batteries inside, both phones are relatively thin and Vivo has also managed to keep the weight of the devices almost unchanged compared to last year’s models. versatile camera system

The Vivo X200 and X200 Pro have impressive camera systems with minor differences in real-world usage. Both are excellent at daylight photography, delivering vibrant and natural colors with good dynamic range. However, the Pro model stands out with clearer details and better highlight management. Both devices handle street photography well, with no issues with shutter lag or lens flare. Ultra-wide shots have improved but still need better optimization for clarity and color accuracy. When it comes to zooming, both support 100x digital zoom, with the X200 offering 3x optical zoom and the Pro being slightly better at 3.7x optical zoom. The Pro’s 200MP telephoto lens captures detailed shots, while the standard X200’s 50MP telephoto lens performs well but lags a bit. Portrait photography with flexible focal lengths (23mm to 135mm) for DSLR-like quality is the highlight of the series. The Pro’s additional 135mm lens creates portraits with superior clarity and dynamic range. Overall, Vivo has definitely done tremendously well with the X200 series cameras, and these are two of the best camera phones you can get at their respective budgets.

Both models are excellent in battery performance. The Vivo X200 is equipped with a 5800mAh battery, while the X200 Pro includes a slightly larger 6000mAh battery. Compared to the previous generation models, both phones have much larger battery capacities. They also support 90W fast charging, ensuring that you can recharge your device quickly and stay powered all day long. The excellent battery life is partly due to the use of silicon carbon batteries on both phones. So, typically, smartphones use lithium-ion batteries, but recently, silicon carbon batteries have become more common in phones. Simply put, compared to lithium-ion batteries, these can store more energy, which means your phone will last longer on a single charge. Additionally, silicon carbon batteries charge faster than lithium-ion batteries. As for durability, silicon carbon batteries can handle more charge and discharge cycles than lithium-ion, meaning they will last longer and be more durable. Therefore, long battery life, combined with efficient hardware, delivers reliable performance for extended use, whether for work or play.

good value for money

Despite offering high-end specifications, the Vivo X200 series is priced competitively, considering how other flagship phones are priced. The X200 price starts at Rs 65,999, while the X200 Pro is available in a single 16GB RAM plus 512GB storage option, priced at Rs 94,999. However, with the right bank offers and discounts, it is possible to get both the phones for around Rs 60,000 and around Rs 85,500 respectively, making them excellent value for money. In hindsight, perhaps the price difference between the X100 and X100 Pro wasn’t justified. But, this time, the story is different and both of these Vivo phones are totally worth it if you are considering buying a flagship device. So, if you are someone who wants to buy a flagship phone with solid battery life for casual use, great cameras, and a good-looking design, then you can go ahead with the X100. Wait for other flagships to launch

The reasons listed above alone make the case for the Vivo X200 series quite strong. And, if you decide to put your money on any of these devices, you can’t go wrong with them. However, if you are someone who wants to exercise their options before making a final purchase – we suggest waiting for some more flagship phones to be launched. Currently, high-end devices like iQOO 13, Realme GT 7 Pro and Oppo Find X8 series have already been launched in India. However, other high-end offerings such as the OnePlus 13, Xiaomi 15 series and Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series are still not launched in the country. So if you want to buy the X200 series then go for it, you will not be disappointed. However, if you want to look at other options before making a final decision – we suggest you wait until at least January.
