Vivo X200 Ultra is finally official today after a major incident in China. The phone aims to become an animal of a camera with two ISPs and one Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset. We also saw the arrival of Vivo X200s – another premium device with a thin, compact body and huge battery.
Vivo x200 Ultra
The Ultra X200 stands as a definite head of the series. Qualcomm chipset is paired with 12 GB or 16 GB LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, while the storage is UFS 4.1, with three options – 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB.
QHD+ resolution, 4,500 nits peak shine and 10-bit on the front with 120 Hz refresh rate is 6.82 ”Ltpo AMOLED.
The camera is the one that makes the X200 ultra extraordinary. The phone now has a V key to the right, where the index finger usually goes with digital cameras. Its goal is simple – it is an adaptable button used as a shutter trigger.
On the inside, Vivo equipped not one but two dedicated camera chips. Vivo is V3+, which is a classic ISP for post-processing, but Vivo is now presenting Vivo VS1. The aim of the new platform is to increase the exposure and focus and take care of the image stacking – this is why it will forward the data to the V3+ to more computally intensive tasks such as noise reduction and accelerate.

The Vivo X200 comes in Ultra black or red, and there is also a white version that mimics the design of the Rimova suitcase. The initial price for 12/256 GB is CNY 6,499 ($ 900/€ 775). There is a 16 GB + 1 TB version that supports satellite communication and cost CNY 7,999 ($ 1,100/€ 950).
This is only one available with photography set, with the price of the entire package at CNY 9,699 ($ 1,350/€ 1,150). We do not expect to launch the X200 Ultra outside China from Vivo.
Vivo x200s
The X200s can be part of the current flagship portfolio, but Vivo said that it is the natural development of the Vivo X100S smartphone of the previous year (no longer X200S Pro variants). It is a small handset with 6.67 “amoled screen with 1260p resolution and up to 120 Hz refresh rates.
Here the chipset is a MediaTek Demispress 9400+, which is in five separate memory combinations with 12/16 GB RAM and 256 GB/512 GB/1 TB storage.
The X200s can be smaller in size than the vanilla X200, but the phone has space for the same powerful cameras. The trio of the shooters on the back is 50 MP F/1.6 Men + A50 MP F/2.6 telephoto with 3x optical zoom + A50 MP F/2.0 Ultravide. A 32 MP selfie camera sits behind a punch hole.
The battery is the major sales point of Vivo X200s. It has 6,200 mAh capacity – the most for any Vivo X smartphone. It supports the appropriate charger or stand with 90W fast wired charging and 40W wireless charging.
The X200s arriving in China means that it has originos on top of Android 15. It has a spam call, a homework assistant and an AI filter for the Chinese version of the circle, where the device can see whatever is directly on the screen on the internet.
Other features brought on this phone promote 360-degree NFC, a large vapor room for cooling, and better antenna design and a wise switch between Wi-Fi and cellular networks.
Vivo x200s
Vivo X200s is for pre-order, Friday, with the first sale for 25 April. This phone comes into black, white, green and lavender purple with a initial price of CNY 4,199 ($ 575/€ 500). Like the X200 Ultra, we suspect that this phone will make it outside China anytime.
