Vivo has announced its third edition of the Imagine Smartphone Photography Awards. This annual competition allows participants to share their creativity through photography. If you win the competition, you can get yourself the Vivo X200 Pro for free.

Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar worked as a jury chair with three famous photographers – Vineet Vohra, Rakesh Pulapa and Aamir Wani.

Photography Awards 6 are different categories: nature and landscape, night and light, architecture, speed, paintings and roads and culture. The competition started taking entries on 22 August and the deadline was scheduled on 30 November.

After the entries are closed, the jury will evaluate all entries to shortlist a winner from each category. The last winner will then be selected from these 6 participants.

The participants who make it in the final 6 will get a free Vivo X200 Pro for the company’s flagship smartphone. Grand winner also received a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh.

Participants are encouraged to tell originality and innovative story through their photography. In a press release, Zoya Akhtar said that the competition was “making a place for stories that were so personal and impressive.”

How to imagine Vivo to participate in smartphone photography awards?

To participate in Vivo’s competition, participants can apply through the official website of the competition. At the time of application, one must upload their images with basic details and select 1 of 6 categories.

6 shortlisted winners of each category will be invited to conclude in December this year. Vivo has to provide more details at the closing yet.

Who is eligible for the Vivo Imagine smartphone photography awards?

There are some conditions for the competition.

A participant should be at least 18 years old and should be a citizen of India. Additionally, a sound should be of health and brain, says Vivo.

Participants can only upload images that they have taken only from the Vivo smartphone and should be original. A maximum of 5 different entries can be made by a person.

However, participants can upload several paintings within a category entry. There is also an option to provide tags and details for images, but it is not mandatory.

The image size should be within 2–10MB with a resolution between 1000×1000 pixels and maximum 1920×1080 pixels.
All participants should keep their social media profiles public for the period of competition.

Vivo claims that in 2024, the company received more than 17,000 participants for the Imagine smartphone photography awards. The jury provided mentorship to the top 30 participants of the competition.
