Vivo is preparing for the launch of a new smartphone in India, and it is not enough that was expected. Earlier, Leaks had indicated on the arrival of the Vivo X200 Pro Mini, a compact model from the major series of the brand. However, according to a recent report, the plan has changed. Instead, Vivo is now asked to work on launching a separate model for the Indian market – Vivo X200 Fe -. As SmartPrixVivo has changed the course after the first leak, and now finalized the Vivo X200 Fe for India. The device is asked to carry the same design elements in the X200 Pro Mini, but with a slight set of specifications. This is expected to arrive in India by late June or early July 2025, although the exact launch date is still being discussed internal.
Vivo X200 Fe has allegedly facilitated a 6.31 inch LTpo OLED display with a 1.5K resolution (2640 x 1216 pixels) and 120Hz refresh rate. The performance is said to have flat edges with 2.5D curved glass. Under the hood, the Vivo X200 Fe is expected to be operated by MediaTek’s upcoming Demidance 9400E processor. While this chip has not yet been officially declared, it is believed that it is a slightly low-grady or demetance 9300+ bind version. It should still ensure strong performance in everyday tasks, gaming and multitasking, especially when combined with vivo’s software optimization.
In terms of photography, the Vivo X200 Fe is said to be with two 50-megapixel cameras-a primary sensor and a telephoto lens-a 50-megapixel front camera for selfie and video calls on the rear. This setup reflects the Vivo X200 Pro Mini’s camera system, but leaves the ultra-wide sensor.
Charging speed is also expected to be impressive. The Vivo X200 Fe 90W can support wired fast charging, although the details of the battery capacity are not yet on the surface. Given the recent focus of Vivo on the battery tech, it would not be surprising to include silicon-carbon technology, which helps to expand the battery life and improve thermal efficiency.
While Vivo has not yet shared the pricing details of the X200 Fe, the X200 Pro Mini CNY comes at an initial price of 4,699 (about 55,000 rupees). So, can we expect to look at the Vivo X200 Fe launch in a ballpark of Rs 50,000? Well, more information, including full glasses and confirmed pricing, must be available in the coming weeks.
