Vivo XFold 3 Pro has been launched in India for under Rs 1,60,000. This is Vivo’s first foldable phone that the company has announced in the country. The device will likely compete with phones like the OnePlus Open and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5. Here are the details.

Vivo X Fold 3 Pro: Price in India

The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro has a starting price of Rs 1,59,999 in India, which is for 256GB storage and 8GB RAM. The company has not launched any other variants, which is surprising. The new foldable phone will go on sale on Amazon and Flipkart on June 13. As part of the launch offer, the device will be available with a bank discount offer of up to Rs 15,000 and an exchange bonus of up to Rs 10,000 for HDFC and SBI cardholders.

The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro features an 8.03-inch 2K E7 AMOLED display. The screen has a peak brightness of 4,500nits, support for Dolby Vision and HDR10. It also has a 6.53-inch AMOLED cover display, both of which support a 120Hz refresh rate. It has an LTPO panel, so the refresh rate is adjusted between 1Hz to 120Hz depending on the content. With Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) protection and Armor Glass coating, the device ensures durability. It is powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, supported by up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Additionally, it also includes Vivo’s custom V3 imaging chip.

The Vivo X Fold 3 series features a carbon fibre hinge weighing 14.98 grams, which is 37 per cent lighter than its predecessor and is certified by TUV Rheinland to last up to 500,000 folds. For photography, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro features a triple rear camera setup: a 50-megapixel main camera with f/1.68 lens and OIS, a 64-megapixel telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. Both the inner and outer screens have 32-megapixel selfie cameras with f/2.4 aperture.

Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, NavIC, OTG, and a USB Type-C port. Security features include 3D ultrasonic dual fingerprint sensor and facial recognition. It has an IPX8 rating for dust and water resistance. Finally, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro packs a 5,700mAh battery that supports 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
