Introduction, Glasses, Anboxing
The first major Vivo launch for 2025 has passed and it has brought us the Sleek V50 model. It is a photography-oriented midrange smartphone with a thin design, an emergent screen, an impressive large battery and a trio of 50MP cameras with zees optics.
We often recommend the Vivo V model for our all-round experience, but also for his outstanding photos and video quality on a midrange budget. And Vivo V phones are following the same formula every year with small reforms. Last year, V40 really completed the package by adding full water security and stereo speakers.
Now, the Vivo V50 further further the formula. It brings a sophisticated design with a large aura light, an updated 50MP main camera with a better OV50E Censor Plus Zes Optix for all three shooters. And now there is a big 6,000mAh battery with a rapid 90W charging.
The Vivo V50 has a 6.77-inch 1080p amoled, which is downgrade from 6.78 “amoled with 1260p on the previous model. However, this year the model introduces a new Demond Shield Glass Protection (in collaboration with the shot), which should be 50% more droplet more than the first shot than the V40.
Like the V50, V40 and V30, Snapdragon 7 runs on the Gen 3 chip and its memory options are similar to the old models on the maximum 12GB RAM + 512GB.
The trio of the cameras is the 50MP main + 50MP AF ultravide for the back, as well as 50 AF selfie on the front. As we mentioned, the main camera has a new sensor by ubiquitous, while all cameras come with Zes Optics. The focus sometimes remains on the portrait mode photo that improves.
The V50 is powered by a 6,000mAh SI/C battery with 90W fast charging. This FUNTUCH boots Android 15 with 15 skin and will get three major updates in the future in the future.

The V50 will rarely stimulate V30 and V40 owners (both 2024 models), as it provides very little upgradation. But better overall package may be able to compete better with other manufacturers. The only unexplained step display is downgrade – the resolution has gone down to 1080p (388PPI) below 1260p (453PPI). But perhaps performance is now better in some other aspects – we will test it in detail.
