After launching Vivo V40 in August 2024, the company is rumored to be working on its successor – Vivo V50. This phone is expected to be a rebranded version of Vivo S20, which was launched in China in November 2024. The V50 could debut in the mid-budget segment, competing with recent launches like the Realme 14 Pro+, Redmi Note 14 Pro+, and others. , The device has been spotted in an NCC listing, revealing upcoming color variants, design, battery, and charging speed. As per the report published by 91mobiles, the NCC listing has identified Vivo V50 as model number V2427, which gives a good picture of the upcoming Vivo V50 device.

Vivo V50 launching soon: What’s coming?

Based on the NCC listing, the Vivo V50 is expected to bring several upgrades over its predecessor Vivo V40. The listing shows that the upcoming phone measures 160mm in length and 75mm in width, which closely matches the Vivo S20’s measurements of 160—74—7.9mm.

The Vivo V50 is listed with a 5,870mAh battery, which is expected to be marketed as 6,000mAh. The report also shared an image of the charger, which shows that the phone supports 90W fast charging. Connectivity features mentioned include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, NFC, and GPS.

The alleged NCC listing also includes live images showcasing the Vivo V50 in blue, gray and white color options. The device has a hole-punch cutout in the center on the display and Vivo branding on the rear panel. It has Vivo’s signature pill-shaped camera module at the back, which houses dual sensors and a small circular LED flash.

The Vivo V50 is expected to feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It may be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, coupled with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The phone is likely to have the same camera setup as the Vivo V40, which includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. It is expected to run Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15 right out of the box.

Talking about the price, Vivo S20 was launched at CNY 2,299 (approximately Rs 26,790). The Vivo V50 is expected to be priced similar to the Vivo V40, which was priced at Rs 34,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant, which is in line with the price difference seen between the Vivo V40 and Vivo S20.
