The Vivo V50 is rumored to launch in February 2025 and while the company has not yet confirmed its release date, India’s price and the upcoming Vivo phones have leaked online. Interestingly, its predecessor – Vivo V40 – was launched in the country five months ago and the company is now bringing a new version with a minor upgradation. In addition, the latest leak also suggests that the cost of the new Vivo V50 will be higher than its predecessor. This means that Vivo can offer the latest V series smartphone with a slight price. So, what are its leaked price and glasses? Keep reading to find out.
Vivo V50 Price (Leake) in India
Tipster Abhishek Yadav is claiming that Vivo V50 will be introduced with an initial price of Rs 37,999. He has shown some doubts about this leak, but he has also claimed that the price will be less than a segment of only Rs 40,000. Now, to remember, Vivo V40 was launched in India for Rs 34,999. This shows that we can see an increase in the price of Rs 3,000. However, nothing is officially confirmed. Therefore, users are advised to take these details with a pinch of salt.
Vivo V50: Leaked Spac Sheet
Vivo V50 has been tipped to borrow most specifications from its predecessor, Vivo V40. If we go from the box, the latest model will be operated by a Snapdragon 7 General 3 processor. It will maintain the dual rear camera unit by incorporating two 50-megapixel sensors. For selfie, it is said to come up with a 50-megapixel camera. So, these glasses are reported to be similar to the old model. In addition, you will probably see the same design blueprint on the V40 series.
However, the new version has been tipped to pack a large battery with support for better charging speed. We could see a 6,000mAh battery below the hood compared to the 5,500mAh unit seen on the previous model. Vivo V50 is said to have received support for 90W charging from 80W power. Finally, it can support both IP68 and IP69 ratings for better security against submersion in water (up to a certain point). This is also a bit surprising because we see these IP ratings on the ultra-pramium smartphone.
What about Vivo V50 Pro version?
Well, so far, there is no information on the Vivo V50 Pro yet. It seems that the company may plan to leave the Pro version this time and provide standard models to users with more sophisticated experience. For more information, users can remain with India Today Tech for all updates.
