Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro have finally launched in India. The Vivo V40 features a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with great clarity and vibrant colours, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen3 chipset. The Vivo V40 Pro also has a similar display with better features, powered by the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset. Both phones offer impressive camera setups, fast connectivity options, and large batteries with 80W fast charging. Vivo V40, Vivo V40 Pro: Price and availability
The Vivo V40 Pro has been launched at a starting price of Rs 49,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model. The 128GB and 256GB storage models of the Vivo V40 are priced at Rs 34,999 and Rs 36,999 respectively. The standard model will go on sale in India on August 19 and the Pro will be available on August 13.

The Vivo V40 Pro comes with a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen that displays a billion colours. It supports HDR10+ and has a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. The peak brightness of the screen is 4500 nits, making it easy to view in bright conditions. With a resolution of 1260 x 2800 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio, the display offers sharp and vibrant images.
The phone measures 164.2 x 74.9 x 7.6mm and weighs 192 grams, making it sleek and easy to handle. There is dual SIM support (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by) and an eSIM. The Vivo V40 Pro is also IP68-rated for dust and water resistance, allowing it to be submerged up to 1.5 metres for up to 30 minutes.
Running on Android 14 with Funtouch 14, the Vivo V40 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset. It has an octa-core CPU and Immortalis-G715 MC11 GPU, which ensures smooth performance for all your apps and games.
The Vivo V40 Pro is equipped with a triple rear camera setup. It includes a 50 MP wide lens, a 50 MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, and a 50 MP ultrawide lens. The cameras are enhanced with Zeiss optics, Zeiss T* lens coating, and a ring-LED flash. For videos, it supports 4K recording at 30fps and features gyro-EIS and OIS for stability.
