Vivo T4 Ultra Quick Review: First True Flagship Killer from Vivo?
Vivo T4 Ultra doesn’t just look good – with a distance of 9300+ under the hood, it packs all the raw power you can ask. Started at an effective price of Rs 34,999, is it worth your money? Here is our quick review.
Listen to the story

In short
- The price of Vivo T4 Ultra starts at Rs 37,999 in India
- It comes in three RAM and storage options: 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB
- One of the main attraction of this phone is its 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera
From the moment I unabated Vivo T4 Ultra, I have liked it a lot. First of all, it was just the design that stood out – smooth, solid and premium – and this is usually the first thing you notice with any new phone. But after using it for a while, I can say that I am really affected, more than prices. This is not to say how wrong its cost is, but when a phone successt a model (T3 Ultra) from Rs 31,999 and jumps up to Rs 37,999, it is bound to compare. This is an increase of Rs 6,000, and naturally, expectations run more.
Now, this is not a complete review-which will come later-but depending on the initial use, the Vivo T4 Ultra already enters the crowded mid-range segment, with all the correct material to stand out. I have first impressions here.

Nail it with display and design
Vivo T4 Ultra is quite thin and lighter for a large phone, and satin finish is easily one of its best design elements. We have first seen it in the V series of Vivo, and even in its X series flagship. T4 Ultra continues to her heritage beautifully. I am not sure how the company manages to pull the satin finish so well, but if there is a brand that actually gives it a nail, it is Vivo. T4 Ultra Sounds fantastic in hand – it hides well smoothie, and when you run your nails beyond the back, that strangely satisfactory texture. If you know, you know.
Visually, there is not a major difference between the T3 Ultra and the T4 Ultra, but the eagle-ide users will see a significant change: in addition to a periscope telephoto lens on the new model.
Flip the front side, and you will get a quad-split 6.67-inch AMOLED display. It is slightly smaller than the previous model, but it has a 120Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution and a summit of 5,000 notes. Vivo claims that it is brighter than the old panel – and to be fair, that not a single bad.
Two things that I really appreciate here. First of all, even though it is not a completely flat display, the quad-verse design gives that it makes it a balanced look and feel-he is more practical than an aggressively curved panels that may look fancy but are not always usable. Second, the screen supports 1,600 NITs in high brightness mode, a more realistic measure of external visibility. This is a bright, vibrant screen, whether you are watching video or gaming. The pairing it with excellent stereo speakers, and you have gained a solid multimedia experience yourself.
Big betting on performance
Under the hood, Vivo T4 runs on Ultra MediaTek Demistance 9300+, a chipset that we have not seen in any other phone launched in India yet. But we have already seen what regular dismal 9300 is capable – and with vivo’s general software optimization, the performance seems to be stagnant and responsible so far.
It is also very good to see more brands bringing flagship-level chips into mid-range phones. Just like now we see Snapdragon 8 gene 2 and General 3 -ward phone less than Rs 50,000, similarly it is at a distance of 9300+ phones under Rs 40,000. He said, I am still in the middle of the test, and only after a few more days I will be able to comment properly on the overall performance of T4 Ultra.
For the battery, the phone packs a unit of 5,500mAh with 90W wired charging. Honestly, I was hoping to see a silicone-carbon battery here. It is not that anything is wrong with lithium-ion-it works fine-but silicon-carbon technology would have made a noticeable difference between battery endurance and longevity. Nevertheless, 90W fast charging T3 is a good collision on 80W support on Ultra. My use so far, it takes about 50–55 minutes to fully charge zero, which is decent for the size of this battery.
Unexpected, great camera
At this point, solid cameras on the vivo phone are not more surprising, and the T4 Ultra is not separate. Like the recently launched Vivo V50E, this phone takes great pictures. In fact, if you ask me: What are the two things that are always right? Without giving it a second idea, I would say that this is design and camera performance.
On T4 Ultra, you get a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and a new 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 3X optical zoom-welcome to anyone who enjoys taking zoom shots. The periscope lens actually adds versatility when talking about photos and videos. Of course, we will dive the quality of the camera deeply throughout the review, but so far, so good.

Penetration
The Vivo T4 Ultra looks like a well-round smartphone with a premium design, top-school display and reliable cameras. This is definitely an upgrade on T3 Ultra, especially with the new dimension 9300+ chip. But it is also more expensive. For Vivo’s credit, however, the base model now comes with 256GB storage instead of 128GB, which we saw earlier, which helps to justify the price increase.
As the T3 was with Ultra, the Vivo is offering a discount of Rs 3,000 with the eligible bank card, making the effective price to Rs 34,999. What makes the upgrade meaningful, it depends on your specific needs and what you do the most value in the phone. But depending on the initial impression, the T4 Ultra Sub-Rs 40,000 seems like a solid contender in the range of 40,000.
