Vivo has launched a new T-series smartphone in India which is involved in the growing trend of phones, which has a huge 7,000 mAh battery. The new Vivo T4 5G comes with a demon of 7,300mAh. It joined the recently launched IQO Z10 smartphone, which also comes with a 7,300mAh battery. Oppo K13 5G, which was launched on Monday, also follows this trend with a 7,000mAh battery. And in the coming months, there are more smartphones that expect to follow this trend. Rumor Poco F7 – or possibly its premium version, Poco F7 Pro – is expected to come up with more than 7,000mAh batteries. So Realm GT7 and OnePlus Nord CE 5 are.

For those who do not know, these massive batteries are squeezed into these greasy phones for silicon carbon battery technology. The technology allows phone manufacturers to fit large battery in slim devices. It replaces some graphite with silicon, which stores more energy in less space. According to Vivo, the phone can offer “52 hours of talk time, 87-hour music playback, 35-hour video streaming and 15-hour non-stop gaming”. Which, in anticipation, says that your phone can easily take you for one and a half days, no matter how heavy you are. Vivo T4 5G comes in three variants in India.

8GB RAM +256GB Storage: Rs 23,999
128GB RAM + 256GB Storage: Rs 25,999.

The smartphone will go on sale in Flipkart, Vivo India e-store and all partner retail stores from April 29, 2025.

The phone will be available in Phantom Gray and Emerald Blaze color variants. Note, for some reason, the Emerald Blaze variant is slightly smooth (0.789 cm) compared to the Phantom Gray variant (0.793 cm).

Vivo has announced some launch offer, which says that consumers can benefit from April 29 (day of sales). On purchasing using HDFC Bank, SBI Bank and Axis Bank Card, buyers can get a flat instant discount of Rs 2,000.

Vivo T4 5G is operated with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7S General 3 Chipset.

The phone also comes with an IR blaster, which allows the user to control air conditioners, TV, set-top boxes, projector, etc. using their phone. Along with this, the phone also supports facilities like AI Game Voice Changer, Game-I protection and precise weight-hand touch control.

The smartphone plays with a 6.77-inch quad-race AMOLED display 120Hz refresh rate and 5,000nits with local peak glow.

For photography, Vivo T4 5G has a 50-megapixel OIS main camera with 2-megapixel bokeh camera, which uses Sony IMX882 sensor. The device supports 1x landscape portrait and 2X Half-Body portrait. Additionally, it supports 4K video recording capacity on 30fps on both front and back. For selfie, the phone is a 32-megapixel wide-angle camera.

The phone comes with an IP65 rating against dust and water. It offers AI Erez, AI Photo Enhans, Live Text, AI Note Assistant, Super Dacuits and Circle AI features.
