Listen to the story
The Vivo T3 Pro 5G is an upgrade to the Vivo T3 5G, which was launched in March this year. As the name suggests, with the addition of “Pro” to its name, the smartphone brings several upgrades over the Vivo T3. It has a better processor, display, and battery. The camera setup has also improved. The Vivo T3 Pro 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip, while the T3 5G model has a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC. The Pro variant has a 6.77-inch curved display, a 5,500mAh battery, and a 50-megapixel Sony dual camera setup. You can read our detailed review of the Vivo T3 Pro 5G. But if you are in a hurry, here is a brief overview of the review in 5 points.
Vivo T3 Pro 5G Review in 5 Points
Design and performance: The Vivo T3 Pro 5G has a stunning design, with a leather rear panel and beautiful golden frame on the sides, offering a surprisingly premium look and feel at an affordable price of under Rs 25,000. I am using the Sandstone Orange colour variant which is very pop, bright and cool, but if that is not your choice, there is also an Emerald Green variant that looks equally beautiful.
The Vivo T3 Pro 5G has a 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display. The display is smooth and delivers beautiful colors in direct sunlight. But with a curved display, accidental touches are a problem. One advantage of a curved display is that it has smaller bezels and this is an advantage you also get in the Vivo T3 Pro 5G.
Processor: The Vivo T3 Pro 5G is powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, which comes with 8GB of RAM. It comes in two storage variants – 128GB and 256GB. It runs on Funtouch OS, which is based on Android 14. Whether scrolling Instagram, watching videos on YouTube or playing high-graphic games, the Vivo T3 Pro 5G delivers great performance.
The Vivo T3 Pro 5G is designed for multi-tasking and it does exactly that. It also has a Game Mode that enables you to continue gaming while also paying attention to other apps via the picture-in-picture shortcut. Our detailed review of the Vivo T3 Pro 5G explains all the multitasking features. That being said, the overall performance of the Vivo T3 Pro 5G is smooth and offers a great experience.
Battery: The Vivo T3 Pro 5G has a large 5,500mAh battery with 80W charging support. The device takes only 30 minutes to charge from 0 percent to 100 percent. Its battery also drains very slowly.
Camera: The Vivo T3 Pro 5G sports a 50-megapixel primary Sony camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera at the back. The rear camera clicks crisp and vivid pictures during the daytime, but surprisingly the night mode is just as good. Having said that, I didn’t find the front camera as impressive as the back camera.
The Vivo T3 Pro 5G has a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls. It’s not particularly good, but it gets the job done as long as there is good lighting around you. Check out the camera samples clicked by the Vivo T3 Pro 5G.
Verdict: The Vivo T3 Pro 5G starts at Rs 21,999 and the high-end variant with 8GB and 256GB costs Rs 23,999. Apart from the price, it also has a big battery, great display and decent cameras. Overall, the Vivo T3 Pro 5G is an attractive deal.
