After the success of Vivo T3, it looks like the company is ready to launch its younger sibling. Rumor has it that Vivo might expand the Vivo T3 series smartphone lineup in India. As the name suggests, the upcoming device will be a cheaper version of the Vivo T3 and will be priced under Rs 12,000.

Vivo T3 Lite in India

According to the report, the Vivo T3 Lite is likely to be launched by the end of June. Although the launch date has not been announced yet, Vivo may launch the phone soon. This will be Vivo’s most affordable 5G phone priced under Rs 12,000, so we can expect the phone to start at Rs 11,999. Vivo has so far launched 5G phones priced under Rs 20,000.

Talking about the specifications, the Vivo T3 Lite 5G is reportedly powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. This chipset has previously featured in several smartphones, such as the Realme Narzo N65 and C65, both affordable 5G phones starting at Rs 11,499 and Rs 10,499, respectively.

The smartphone is also tipped to feature a 50-megapixel Sony AI camera, along with what is likely to be a secondary sensor.

Since, as per rumours, the device will hit the market by the end of June, we can expect other details to be announced soon as well.

Vivo T3

Since the Vivo T3 Lite is a variant of the Vivo T3, we can assume that some of the features might be similar. The Vivo T3 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC and packs a 5,000mAH battery. The Vivo T3 also supports 44W wired fast charging.

It features a 6.67-inch 120Hz full-HD+ AMOLED screen, a 50-megapixel dual rear camera unit, and a 16-megapixel front camera. The handset has a starting price in India of Rs 19,999 for the 8GB + 128GB option, while the 8GB + 256GB variant costs Rs 21,999.

It also comes in Cosmic Blue and Crystal Flake colour options, which could be the same for its yet-to-be-launched sibling, the Vivo T3 Lite. Soon after its launch in March 2024, the Vivo T3 proved to be a solid competition for other devices in the same segment. The Vivo T3 5G’s highlights include a large battery, high-definition display, and a comprehensive camera system, establishing it as an all-rounder device. The Vivo T3 Lite is also expected to follow in the footsteps of the Vivo T3.
