The makers have released the teaser of Vishwak Sen’s Telugu action comedy Laila. The teaser features Vishwak Sen in dual roles, with Sonu playing both a model and a woman, Laila. The film is releasing on 14th February.

Vishwaksena, who has an impressive track record of choosing diverse scripts like Gami and Gangs of Godhavari, is back to his comfortable style with Laila, a comedy action entertainer with an experimental take.

In the teaser, Vishwaksen is impressive as model Sonu, a bubbly beauty parlor owner in Hyderabad. The second look, Leela, has left the audience curious, raising questions about the reason behind her transformation from Sonu model to Laila.

Richard Prasad’s cinematography adds to the visual appeal of the teaser, complemented by Leon James’ background score. Directed by Ram Narayan and produced by Sahu Garapati under the Shine Screens banner, the film also stars Akanksha Sharma. The film promises a great mix of romance, action and comedy.

Meanwhile, Vishwak Sen recently announced a family entertainer directed by Anudeep KV, titled Funky. The project is bankrolled by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, with Srikara Studios presenting it.

Vishwak Sen was last seen in Mechanic Rocky and Gangs of Godavari, which was praised for his performance and effort, but received mixed reviews, with both films struggling to impress the audience.
