Kannappa, a starrer of Vishnu Manchu, hit a big screen on June 27, 2025. As the film is running in theaters with mixed reviews, the actor-producer has accepted the removal of some scenes due to poor visual effects (VFX).
Did Kannappa starring Vishnu Manchu remove the scenes due to poor VFX?
In a conversation with the press, Vishnu Manchu responded to some scenes of the film due to poor visual effects. In his words, the actor said, “Editor, director, and I sacrificed some excellent scenes in the film because VFX was not at the level we used to expect that it was expected to happen.”
He said, “This is a big lesson for me, though. It’s a lesson that I will never repeat that mistake. However, many people who saw the film did not realize it. The team was happy that no one cares about it,” he said.
Recently, as part of a conference, Vishnu Manchu revealed that his film would not reach a 10 -week dramatic release on OTT. The actor insisted on how he has such freedom on digital streaming.

The rebel star alias Prabhas, playing the role of Rudra, is a Rigvedic deity, in which Mohanlal is seen as a tribal warrior. Additionally, Akshay Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal are playing the roles of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati respectively.
While the film is appreciated for its performance, it is criticizing its visual effects and writing.
