Bigg Boss OTT 3 witnessed a lot of drama over the weekend when Armaan Malik slapped housemate Vishal Pandey. During Weekend Ka Vaar, Payal Malik along with host Anil Kapoor revealed that Vishal had commented on Armaan’s second wife Kritika Malik. When the host and other contestants called out Vishal for staring at her, the content creator defended himself by sharing that he had mentioned liking her in a harmless way.

However, as the episode ended, Armaan confronted Vishal again and slapped him in a fit of rage. Since he was not evicted for breaking the house rule (violence), there have been differences of opinion on the issue on social media.Now, Vishal’s sister Neha, while speaking to IndiaToday.in, revealed how the entire family is heartbroken by the incident.

“We have not slept for two days. It was shocking for us to see how Vishal was slapped on national TV. How can this be tolerated? My parents broke down seeing this. We are also worried now that they are staying in a safe place. What if they fight again? We are keeping our strength only because Vishal is very strong. He wants to win the show and does not want to get distracted by these things. I hope everyone supports him and makes him victorious,” she told us in an exclusive interview.

Emphasising that the family is quite upset with how Anil Kapoor handled the issue, Neha said, “When Vishal was leaving for the show, we were relieved as he gets very strict sometimes. However, now we feel that if Salman sir was there, he would have stood by the truth. He would have even gone against the producers when needed. However, we only saw ‘Majnu bhai’ on stage, who was acting the way the producers told him to. We are really disappointed as he could have handled the issue in a much better way.”

While Neha Pandey is unfazed by the questions raised on Vishal’s character, she is also disappointed by Lovkesh’s lack of support for his brother. She also said that Vishal has been creating social media content for a long time and often interacts with women.

She asked, “None of them ever felt unsafe with him or felt like he disrespected them. A man’s true intentions are often well captured by women. If he was such a bad person, why didn’t any other female contestant feel the same?”

He thanked the celebrities and fans who supported Vishal and said, “Honestly, today everyone is smart enough to understand a person’s actions. Also, the youth understands what the truth is and whom they should support. It is the producers who are giving the wrong message by not punishing someone who indulged in violence. ‘Bigg Boss’ was a show with strict rules. And this was a planned act, not something done in anger. Is this what they want their viewers to learn? Do they want to influence their fans in this way?”

Neha Pandey finally said that even if the makers ask her to come on the show, she will refuse to do so. She said, “We don’t need such a platform to support our brother. We don’t want to justify someone by demeaning them. He was abused and reprimanded, but he stood strong. And we as a family will continue to do so. All we want is that Armaan publicly apologizes to Vishal and assures his safety.”
