Anushka Sharma’s heartfelt wishes to Indian team and Virat Kohli after T20 World Cup win
The Indian cricket team defeated South Africa in the final of the T20 World Cup 2024 thanks to Virat Kohli’s crucial 76-run knock. Following the win, several Bollywood celebrities such as Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Salman Khan, among others congratulated and lauded the team on social media.
Anushka Sharma too expressed her pride in the champions and also revealed her little daughter Vamika’s concern. She wrote, “Our daughter’s biggest worry was whether there was someone to hug all the players as she saw them crying on TV… Yes my dears, they were hugged by 1.5 billion people. What a great win and what a magnificent achievement!! Champions – congratulations!!”
She also posted an appreciation post for her husband, giving away some great couple goals.
